edit: I'm interested to see how Sucker Punch with their platforming experience go about crafting the controls and character moves in a game like this.

Animated GIF of awesome, from the olde E3 2007 trailer:

Yeah, I can see how that would be a problem handling firearms.
damn, that looks good. Where can I go to download the old E3 trailer to my ps3?

wow... i feel stupid....

just out of curiousity what site do you download game trailers for on your ps3?

I use gamecrapping.com for movie trailers and game trailers, but a lot of their game trailers are out of date...

Just the PLAYSTATION Store, official sites and rarely SCEA's press site.

oh... I mean if it's on PSN, that's where I go first. But they need more movie and game trailers... I mean some games have 5 trailers while others have none, like inFamous.

I went to IGN.com and their movie links don't work on the ps3... so you're saying I should go to inFamous.com??

There is no inFAMOUS.com yet, just SCEA's page and Sucker Punch's.

The trailer in the first post is the one linked on Sucker Punch's page.

July Issue Revealed!

Quote:
After Sony announced Infamous, the company went dark on anything related. In our world exclusive, we blow the lid off of the game in a 10-page cover feature. Sly Cooper developer Sucker Punch has developed a new type of superhero fit for the modern world, and Infamous is his story. Set in a huge open world, players will get to experience an epic story while playing in a sandbox setting. Also this month, we explore the world of bad games and how they get there. We also turn up the heat in our second annual Sacred Cow Barbeque and roast some of the best games around. This plus the latest previews, reviews and more in the July issue of Game Informer!
Character design's changed a lot but maybe you customise how Dylan looks.

I heard that there will be a new trailer coming about the same time as this issue.
Wonder if there's any truth to this.

Gamespot Q&A: Good Versus Evil

Quote:
GS: What are the powers that you'll have in the game?

BF: What I can talk about is what you've seen in the trailer: The hero is shown throwing bolts of electricity and directing a massive lightning strike. Those are specific, offensive powers, which the player will need to decide how and where to use. Obviously, there will be more than these two, but they're the only two major powers we've shown thus far.

Speaking of GameInformer, does anyone else have a subscription? I thought I should have gotten this months issue (with Guitar Hero 4) around the end of last month, but haven't gotten it yet. Does anyone else have problems with them?

inFAMOUS was one of the games I was waiting to catapult the PS3, along with MGS4, Final Fantasy XIII, and Resistance 2. I've also heard, repeatedly, that with a game on both PS3 and 360, the 360 is running at around 90% capacity, while PS3 is running at 30% of it's potential. If this is the case, why are so many ports sub-par on the superior technology? Laziness?

Trailers, yes. Demos, no. Trailers for the PS3 are just AVC-encoded MP4 movie files. Demos can't be pushed around onto or off of the PS3's drive at all.

Are they still looking at an '08 release for this game? If so the PS3's gonna have a huge exclusive lineup - Resistance 2, MGS4, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Wipeout HD, Socom Confrontation, and this...woohoo!
