Managed to turn my PS3 on and off via PSP remote play, direct connection and via the internet but I really need to test the latter from a different access point to that which my PS3's on.

There's a 'Finish' option when setting up your output resolution now. Before you had to press 'O' unless you wanted to continue into audio setup which wouldn't be immediately obvious to some users.

I didn't get that error but it wasn't picking up my music or pictures. I restarted my PC and PS3 and now it's fine.

Mine is all downloaded. I know some of you don't like it. I love it. Turning on my PS3 with my PSP works great! I also like the new playlist options as well.

That's so unfair, mine's been going for about 10 minutes now and it's only 2% done. Why is it sooo slow? Maybe there's a huge resource demand now that everyone knows it's out.

Using WMP11 (with all Microsoft Updates) on XP by the way.

Euro and US stores haven't been updated but the Japanese one has.

DARK MIST!

If only I had Japanese store credit..

Might be because I got in earlier, might be because I'm pulling from a euro server which wouldn't have that many downloading this time of day or both.

That makes sense. Seems to be picking up speed I'm now at 3%! I think I'm going to cancel it and wait for Sony to post it on their website. I'll just put it on a flash drive...damn I was so excitedf too.

awesome.

appearantly 2.0 has resolved an issue I was having with playing PS2 games. for a while there, any ps2 game I tried to play locked up the system while it was trying to boot. after 2.0, everything is working a ok.

Except for the part where you turn of your PS3, and it keeps turning itself on every couple of minutes, even after you turn it off.

http://boardsus.playstation.com/play...ead.id=2137611

Mine is doing this, and it is really starting to piss me off. The only way to make it not do it, is by turning "Remote Start" off.

This was my favorite feature that I was waiting for them to put into an update, and now it is faulty.

Guess I'll have to wait for another update (patch fix) to solve this issue.

---

The only reason why I think it would be doing this, would maybe be like it's in a "Standby" mode trying to see if a PSP system is trying to link up with it? I don't know.

When it turns on by itself, it says the following message:

"Connect the PSP system using a remote play connection.

If you do not establish a remote play connection within a certain period of time, the PS3 system will turn off automatically."

---

I've tried downloading it a couple times but it errors out before it gets to 20%. Does anyone have a link that I can download from to burn to a disc?

Most pictures aren't suitable as background wallpapers because they're too bright or detailed, with the new background brightness option (Normal, -1, -2, -3, -4, -5) you should now be able to use anything as long as it still looks ok dimmed.

I'm loving it. Good stuff.

When you select PS Store and sign in now you continue on to the store, doesn't dump you back on the xmb.

That new theme is cool... give me more.

Browser cursors are different.
