I was liking the PS3 controller until he said it didn't have rumble. It also seems the PS3 will not be getting any faceplates. The bluetooth headset still looks nifty, but i still love my official Sony one. I may look into a controller skin.

I wish they cut the screen inhalf, they didn't. You have a background and two small off centered screens. The two small split screens use up about half the size of my t.v.. It was a complaint in the WAW forum early back as to why they would do that. The screen size was not adjustable also.

My t.v.'s 50 inches so don't think I need a bigger one,well you can always have a bigger one I guess.

hmm um yea, ive never played it split screen, thats not cool if they did that, seems like a really dumb thing to do , thats y i didnt get what u were saying, because what developer would be dumb enough to do that . ill be checking it out the next time i get a chance. i stopped playing it about a month after i got it, went back to cod4 mw

Jesus, is it me or is the PS3 getting the red headed step-child treatment. No throat mic, no rumble feature for the controller and no skins. WTF!!!!!

Seriously, that's ridiculous they can't do rumble in PS3. I bet it's a choice, not a cost issue. They seem to favor that other console pretty heavily, which is stupid imo. I'll just stick with my official controller.

And to the faceplates, I though I saw some PS3 ones in the vid. I could be wrong.

The more news I'm finding out about MW2 and all the extras the other console is getting I might just have to get it on that other format. I hate to do it to, but with the early map releases,and that throat device is wicked cool. It does seem the other console is being favored heavily.

Modern Warfare 2's Perks Are Upgradable

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has revealed that Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer will feature upgradable Perks, allowing players to "rank up" their Perks to an "upgraded Pro version."

Talking to GamerZines about additions made to Modern Warfare 2's Perk system, Bowling said:

"We've made extensive additions to the perk system and create a class system as a whole. You can now customize killstreak rewards in addition to your weapon loadout, so your reward for multiple kills without a death can be customized to how you like to play. For example, I forego any 3 Killstreak or 5 killstreak and focus on the bigger payoffs for longer killstreaks."

"This new addition along with the ability to rank up Perks from their base benefit to an upgraded Pro version with additional bonuses allows you to really customize your Classes to your preferred play style per gametype."

Perks are subtle modifiers used within Modern Warfare and World at War's multiplayer that allow players to customise their play style, and gain access to a handful of advantages.

New Perks are unlocked as players reach new ranks, and those included in the original Modern Warfare include the Bandolier Perk for extra ammunition, or Sleight of Hand, which allows for faster reloading.

Well look on the bright side though, at least the PS3 controller is wireless. Heh? HEH?

Besides, even if the neck mic did come the PS3, I wouldn't be too intrested, so I'll stick with my official headset, thank you very much.

True, true. I'd rather have wireless than rumble if I were forced to choose. Does anyone know if the official DualShock3s will have rumble (assuming the game does, I haven't found any info on that)?

I only use my headset when friends are on and we're playing SnD and some occasional TDM games, but we're usually just chatting or screwing around lol. I'm sure not buying another one for a new paint job. I can wait on the maps too.

They announced it at E3 that the 360 will have Map Pack timed exclusives.
So what it is basically is the 360 will get Maps a few weeks before the PS3 does, the Map packs will be for both consoles though.

So far I've read that they have two map packs planned already. I believe I recall at the E3 confrence that the first map pack will be available immediately for the 360.

I don't know about you, but that Bushmaster ACR ACOG-Scoped looks badass. I think the urban levels will also be very challenging. Thanks. Curry.
