Well now that Toho are finally releasing these on Blu, maybe Criterion will be able to release their versions soon after. Hopefully we will see Seven Samurai, Sanjuro, and Bad Sleep Well sometime in early 2010.

Why doesn't Criterion come out with a collection like this? That's a nice set. The Criterion Seven Samurai re-release still remains the greatest DVD I own. I hope Criterion will release as many Kurosawa Bluray's as they can as soon as possible. Kurosawa's my absolute favorite.

The third Masterworks Collection will be released February 19, 2010 and will include:

What I am not understanding on this, if no English sub. why are the boxes in English if it's for Japan??
