Sorry, no info yet. And to be honest, I'm not quite sure this will happen until I actually hold it in my hand...

Have it on pre-order though.

I'll get this if it's uncensored. I never got the DVD because of that.

Technically, the DVD wasn't censored. They blacked out Laura Harring's nether regions so pervs wouldn't screencap it, increase the brightness and spread it all over the internet. But if your TV is tweaked properly and on the correct contrast and brightness per Lynch's specifications, you can't tell. Nothing was cut or altered for what you are supposed to see.

I imported Dune. It arrived today and I just watched it. The Elephant Man is on its way from the UK.

But Mulholland Dr. would be huge. My favorite film of all time. Please let it be all region without forced subtitles

I would definitely pick up this movie on domestic BD, and may even consider the import if Universal doesn't play ball soon. I wonder if they'll add chapters for the BD release; I recall the DVD was frustratingly chapter free.

Lynch didn't want chapters because he thinks that it should be experienced without a break, so I doubt we will see them added.

I would just be thrilled to have my favorite film on blu. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen.

Ya, I knew it was Lynch's wishes, and I can certainly respect that. Unfortunately, when I first saw the film I was deployed overseas and had to borrow a laptop to watch it. There were multiple interruptions to my viewing of the movie, so each time I got back to it I would have to fast forward for a good deal of time to find the spot I left off. So, I do understand the theory behind Lynch's insistence on no chapters, but I doubt he meant to frustrate viewers that had no choice but to compartmentalize their viewing experience.

Moreover, with the ability to set bookmarks at the hardware level, I think his original concept has been defeated. I’m not at all insistent on the inclusion of chapters, just curious to see if his intentions are still being applied at this stage in the game.

That would be annoying.

I hope the release is everything we hope it will be and you get to watch it in perfect circumstances. Such an atmospheric film.

No forced subtitles on Norwegian releases. Original language versions with optional subtitles.

Still no confirmation on whether it's region free though? I'm trying not to get too exited. This is one movie i'd definitely import, since it might not get a U.S. release for some time. Is this a Studio Canal release? I thought they had distro rights for the last couple lynch films.

If this is region free, it will have to be my first import since Lynch is moving to Blu far too slow, especially in the states
