Im getting the feeling that the Walmart Big Screen Edition is simply just the added minute of Imax scenes. Im starting to doubt that there will be shifting aspect ratios like the dark knight. I could be wrong.

And just what the hell is going on? Why is there so little info on something as simple as an IMAX BD release? Never mind Paramount, never mind Wal-Mart getting the exclusive deal. But seriously, even Wal-Mart themselves can't be half assed to announce this on their webpage or something.

Something as huge as this should have been made clear months ago, hell, together with the announcement of the regular BD and DVD. This is really messy and stupid.

I hate to say this, although Warner is one of my least favourite studios, they have done one hell of a job explaining and market The Dark Knight BD with all the IMAX shots advantage.

Somebody up there at Paramount/Dreamworks and/or Wal-Mart must realise this is the internet age and stop treating us like idiots. Even something as simple as telling us whether or not an upcoming BD release is region locked would've been very much appreciated by MANY people. n00bs or not.

Sorry. I'm going to end my rant here. But this is just stupidly and unneccessarily frustrating.

Walmart probably doesn't want to use "IMAX" because it is Canadian, so they probably just put "Big Screen" version, bunch of ignorant trolls.
