A girl who thinks she is a cyborg. She's admitted to a mental institution where she refuses to eat human food, so one of the other residents (who thinks he can steal personality traits) takes it upon himself to get her eating again. THere are a lot of fantasy sequences and one of the principal cast is the Korean superstar singer Rain. It's an extremely quirky romantic comedy directed by Park Chan-wook, who gave us JSA, Oldboy and Mr./Lady Vengeance. Definitely worth watching, and only makes the fact that we won't get Lady Vengeance on Blu-ray here due to Tartan's demise all the more distressing (Lady V was made for BD).

I rented 10,000 BC just for the visuals. The movie itself was just so laughably bad. I broke out laughing from the VERY FIRST line of narration and it just went downhill from there. It was kind-of fun, actually. I just thought of it as a spoof of Apocalypto. At least I wasn't bored to death.

Well pic quality you can see above, and the DTS-HD MA 5.1 is pretty good. Not up there with modern mixes, but decent enough considering the film's age. There's a far selection of bonus material as well.

Other Blu-ray forums I frequent have a screenshot thread as a sticky. I think it would be a good idea since it's something that many regulars view to see what various movies look like before they buy them. It also helps promote the Blu-ray technology for those just roaming the site.

It's been suggested to the moderators before, but was rejected as a sticky at that time. I'll probably make another request when the tread gets to 75,000 views or so. I'm really not that concerned about it since the thread usually floats around on the first or second page.

When they finally come out at the end of August, could someone here post pics of the first two seasons of HEROES. This is the one tv series that's coming out on Blu-Ray that I'm dying to get, since it's one of the most visually dynamic series I've ever seen.
