Ok, lets not put it out of proprotions. I have the US BD (didnt see it yet) but its just 6 secs, come on. The a/v quality is almost the same (according to reviews), nothing far superior in favor to the UK version (although I do like the uk cover more). I dont think its enough reason to spend money again on the same movie, just wait for a fix bd, I am sure it will be released someday.

by the way, UK has only PCM (without DTHD as someone mentioned earlier)

Default Kill Bill Errors! Now Starship Troopers Has An Error?!?!

[QUOTE=Germtop;1074150]They're comparing the blu-ray to the DVD. The blu-ray has a minor problem in which it repeats 2 cuts. They only last a couple of seconds so IMO is no big deal.

I disagree. Anything on Blu is a big deal. Why? You should get the disc replaced. You paid a premium for an upgrade to the DVD. If the error appears again, replace it again. I'd keep it up for awhile. After that, I'd request a refund. The studio that released the blu of starship troopers should have done a better job of quality control. Of course, requesting a refund will only work with Amazon. Their customer service is good...AND FAST.

I'm glad someone posted this thread. My starship troopers on blu hasn't been opened yet. I bought so many blus from Amazon 3 for 2 price mistake sale. I'll watch Starship today. I hope I won't have to send in Starship Troopers back to Amazon. I really love starship troopers. I saw it a million and one times on DVD.

I just caught errors in the audio on my two kill bills. I'm already in the process of replacing them with Amazon. Amazon is sending me another copy.

These are premium priced products, it is a big deal. 6 seconds missing is an appalling quality control problem and a replacement program should be in place - now for the discs we have already paid for.

Has anyone heard from Sony on this? How do we contact Sony? And why is the US release different from the UK release? I thought they'd be the same.

The 1st movie is fine! The 3rd one I think they forgot to do the special effects or decided it was worth more paying the big lips chick than to finish the F/X.

I've watched this movie half a dozen times since I've picked it up. The error doesn't even bother me anymore, to be honest. If Sony will send me a replacement, I'll take it, but it's not that big of a deal to me.

I didn't even notice the problem with the POTC movie.

I own this movie and didn't notice this problem. I bought mine in Canada so maybe it is not the same release?

I will take a look tonight and see if it really isn't a problem on my disk.

I have a totally different problem. Denise Richards remained clothed throughout the film.

Yeah I compared her in Starship Troopers and in Wild Things both on Blu and confirmed that there are specific differences in the amount of clothing she wears.

Disney has the rights to the first movie in the UK. Sony has the rights to it in the US. Different studios do different things.
