Starship Troopers Problem

I'm really happy to hear that this has been corrected. I will definitely be picking it up in the future once we get more information on corrected versions reaching stores. Thanks for all the updates on this so far guys

The big difference is here not liking the government does not get you publically executed.

Also propganda machine is not that powerful.

What I do find interesting on that is that you don't connect that with the movie, until the authors opens your mind to whats really go on.

For Starship Troopers to re mastered as well as it has been, we should all be grateful. It could have been cast aside with a sub standard transfer like so many other worthy catalogue titles.
If you want the best copy available then the British release is it. The glitches and odd cuts are not present. The PCM audio is better than the True HD and suffers no lip sync problems.

The glitch is only few seconds, and lip sync is not a problem with updated firmware as other people have stated. I think it has been blown way out of proportions, but you are right, its expected it to be flawless, and thats why there is a corrected version.

As for the pcm vs truehd, I really dont think anyone will notice a difference in a blind test. both should be great and thus got high scores in reviews.

I have both and the sound exactly the same. No lip sync issues either.

You neglected to mention no *extras* for the UK version.

I'm hoping to replace my UK Air Force One soon.

its only 1-2 dollars to post but I live outside of the US, and I got the proof of purchase number, so why make the customer visit the p/o again and pay extra for something that isnt his fault in the first place?

Anyone from outside of USA tried it? how much time does it take them?

Got my replacement today after sending it in to them on Monday. Boy that was fast. All I can say is there is absolutely no indication on the packaging that this is a new copy. I haven't watched it yet to see if it is new, but for those who want to discern the fixed version, I don't think it will be possible.
