Yeah, it seems to be a Panasonic issue only. Hopefully they can resolve the issue soon.

I cant say its my favorite, but it was fantastic. And I disagree (with respect) with Josh about the animation. When I saw it in the theater, I thought to myself that this was giving Pixar a run for its money. Yep...that good IMO.

Lasseter being at Disney now helped this project. This is well beyond the PQ quality of Robinsons and Chicken.....way beyond.

This is better than both CHicken Little or Meet The Robinsons.
Check up the reviews, it received mainly positives. And there is a reason it was nominated for an Academy Award.

Bolt is fully loaded

While you are entitled to your opinion, you are in the extreme minority in saying it's a very poor movie. I haven't seen it yet, but it's pretty obvious that it is not. I'm not saying it's as good as Wall-E, but I know I will really enjoy Bolt nonetheless.

For people who have received this early - does it come with a slipcover? I was expecting it to, and the artwork certainly makes it look like it does, but mine arrived without slipcover. And there are advertisement stickers right on the shrinkwrap, so it doesn't seem like there was a slipcover previously and it got removed at some point.

Yep, slipcover is included, although you are the second person I have seen say that their copy didn't come with one. So maybe it's not a mass produced slipcover, or for the specific retailer?

I just got mine, through a friend who got a few movies coming out next week early, and it had no slipcover either. I really thought it would as it's like Pinocchio and Wall E three disc designs (thick).

I could post pictures tonight

Default Bolt to have DTS-HD MA

I checked out Disney's official website for the "Bolt" BD.
It will have DTS HD MA.

Thats great. disney is the only studio using both DTS-MA and DolbyTrueHD codecs along with PCM. though i prefer DTS and PCM.

Because the 3D version they used in theatres is different from what they use for home entertainment.

As for the DTS-HD MA, what freaken difference does it make? Lossless is lossless is lossless. Are you surprised that a Disney movie is going to have DTS-HD MA or something? I don't know if you've noticed but a lot of their films are featuring this...

Cool, then I'll post the exact same things everytime. Since you guys get to say DTS-HD MA is better, I get to say my thoughts (backed up by facts) too.

Cool

I'm sure I read somewhere Disney is using DTS-HD on all their new releases now. I know the new Narnia and Wall-E have DTS tracks.

Heh, back up by facts? so im lying when i say i like dts over dolby?

I know its all PCM its just that alot of movies i own the DTS movies sounds better than most of the DTHD movies. not to say DolbyTrueHD is bad, its not.

But see, that's the thing. They're all recreating the original uncompressed track. If DTS does indeed sound better, something else is going on with the track. Either the mix itself is better, or other things are happening...

And the reason I brought this up is because when Jodi posted the Bolt information, there was already a Bolt thread going (like the one it was merged with). There's no need to create a new thread every time a fanboy finds out a movie is in their favorite codec. Half the movies out now are in DTS... Should we make new threads everytime an audio codec is announced? That would take up so much room!

I like 3-D in the theater but at home it sucks! I have "journey to the center of the earth" 2-D and 3-D on Blu-ray will never watch the 3-D movie at home again.
