Default Is Ghostbusters Coming?

Does anyone know anything about Ghostbusters coming To Blu-Ray being the 2 films in the series were from Sony Pictures? I think these 2 films would look amazing on Blu.

Judging by the polls, it sure as hell was the most wanted title. I hope they do a great job with this one, like Sony has done with some of the other older titles.

If those 80/90s movies polls really get sent to sony for consideration, and they take it seriously, I think we may have a chance, as the GB flicks were some of the top vote getters.

I just remember Paidgeek mentioning something about the master for Ghostbusters not being the best of condition or something...

I think I had read this too, but hopefully something will be figured out and we can get a good transfer of both films on Blu. I grew up with these two films and would be proud to own these 2 films on Blu-Ray.

I don't find that hard to believe. They looked good on DVD but they could had been better.

Yeah I asked Paidgeek and he said just that. The PQ wasn't up to snuff. I'm sure it will look better than dvd though. I hope they change their mind and release them

If anything it'll release with the game. Since they're pimping it a year in advance, this tells me there will probably be a large multimedia push behind it to try to revive the franchise

ten bucks says that if this does come out it is tied in with the ghostbusters game release. what they could do, especially if the PQ isn't up to snuff, is just release it on the same discs as the game (sorry standalone users).

I was thinking the same thing after reading the newest issue of Game Informer. Either way, the long wait for those two films and the game seem much further than a year away.

I can think of no other reason to create polls if they do nothing about it...there was a issue in the G.I. magazine this month about Ghostbusters. Haven't read it yet, but maybe it says something there

yea don't release these two movies unless they will be perfect...this is my favorite franchise! I don't want it unless it's perfect (maybe restored like Halloween)

They would be crazy not to release Ghostbusters on Blu-ray. It is a classic that would fly off the shelves. With that being said, has anyone heard about when Wedding Crashers is going to be released? I have seen it on some blu-ray comercials but haven't seen it in the stores or on the new release lists.

That's my bet. And I am guessing they're going to remaster the crap out of it.
