So it is an album with just electronic noise? Hmmm.. no thanks. I like lou Reed, especially older stuff, but this is just too experimental for my taste.

No one should make a blind buy on this BD without having some exposure to the album first. Check it out on Youtube or somewhere. I am a big Lou Reed fan, and this album is more noise than music. I will not be picking it up.

On the other hand, if you are a fan of noise/experimental music, this album is pretty much essential. Regardless of what Lou Reed's intent may have been, Metal Machine Music is a pretty amazing aural experience (though certainly not one for the average music fan).
