Default Samsung BD-4600 Wall Mountable Super Slim Player

I didn't see a thread about this after searching, so I thought I would start one. Samsung is going to be releasing a super slim, wall mountable Blu-ray player in the first half of 2009. What does everyone think?

Would you be interested in mounting your player on the wall? It might make for a clean look. I might have to see it in person before making a decision.

The article:

"Your flat-screen TV looks awfully lonely mounted on the wall by itself--why not give it a companion? That, we assume, is the rationale behind the Samsung BD-P4600 wall-mountable Blu-ray player. The BD-P4600 looks to include all the features of its step-down sibling, the BD-P3600: Profile 2.0/BD-Live, Netflix and Pandora streaming, 1GB onboard memory, built-in Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, "Touch of Color" style accents, and--the big upgrade for 2009--802.11n Wi-Fi via an included USB dongle. But unlike the 3600, this ultraslim 1.5-inch model has a slot-loading disc drive and can be mounted on the wall. Just remember that doing so means you'll need to hide the HDMI cable running to the TV or receiver and the power cord. That's probably why Samsung also includes a stand that mounts it at a 25-degree angle, so you can show off its slim lines. Look for the BD-P4600 in the first half of 2009 (pricing TBD)."

I wouldn't mount it on a wall cuz to me that's strange. Maybe an HDTV but definitely not a player.

Anyways this player is interesting and I would get it but from the looks of the photos it looks abnormally WIDE. Like freakishly long like a board or something.

Which is why the 3600 is my 1st choice right now. Either one though should look excellent right underneath one of Samsung's just announced LCD HDTVs!

Samsung was amazing at CES 2009.

I think the BD-4600 would look great with one of the LCDs from the new lines they announced. Those things look awesome.

Why isn't the "Touch of Color" blue?

Might be interesting, but I have no interest in wall mounting a player. Just leads to more holes in your wall, not to mention any airflow problems the player might have by being against the wall.

I agree that they should have more colors for the "Touch of Color". Blue would look great.

Just picked up my BD-P4600 today. WiFi took me less than 5 minutes to setup. This is a sweet player. Now I need to pick up the new 7000 series LED from Samsung probably the 46" of course the 55" would be nice. Wall mount everything would look sweet...

Anyone know how to make the 24fps option the default? It keeps going back to turning it off. Kind've annoying how I have to select this option every movie I put in.
