More & more impressed with OPPO

Just about a year ago, I purchased an OPPO BDP-93 player after having both a Sony and Panasonic die within 18 months of purchase (I think they both got hung up at the layer-change point on discs). Not only is OPPS's audio great for playing CDs, but the picture is great and when playing any of the 3-D discs I have, I've only seen one bit of ghosting - on DIAL M FOR URDER. Anyway, a few weeks ago I wanted to play a disc I'd owned for acouple of years - WORLD TRADE CENTER, which I had not watched since buying the OPPO. After pressing the play button, all I got "unknown disc". Fearing that something was wrong with the player, I e-mailed OPPO's top-notch customer service department and I was asked to mail them the disc, which I did. They said the disc would not play on their machines either and that they had ordered a new copy from AMAZON to try out. In today's mail I received a package from OPPO containing the "bad" disc I'd sent them AND the playable disc they'd obtained from AMAZON. I have no doubt that another manufacturer would have just said that it was a disc problem and let it go at that. Talk about keeping a customer happy.......

Problem with Microsoft Excel 2003

Hello all,

I keep an Excel (spreadsheet) file with all my movies.
I was working on it yesterday, but something went wrong.

I have added the auto data filter to my spreadsheet, but all rows with the value 'no' disappeared for some reason.

They are still there, but they are hidden (the rows are 'folded'). And I don't know how to bring everything back.

For example, this is how it should look like:

But this is how it looks like now:

how does xml files work?

How exactly does it work. I've never used an xml files but in Digital Movies board they talk about sending an xml files for movies that need the disc for redeeming digital copies.

Is there a place or database where I can find xml for movies codes I own?

For example I have Lawless digital code but needs the disc or xml file to redeem the digital copy. How/where can I get it such file and how do I use it. Using Itunes on mac.

I need help with new system

I have been out of the loop for quite a while. I have recently moved into a new place and need to rebuild a media room. Outside of the tv I have o idea where to start.

What I used to have was an onkyo 605 powering 2 monitor 60s a cs2, similar to monitor 50's in the back, and 2 powered 12" subs.

The system sounded pretty good for it all being pieced together.

My new room is still about the same size but hard surfaced and the seating area will be closer (about 7/8' from the tv) and the overall size of the room is about 12x16 ish.

I would like to have a receiver that is expandable with pre-outs at this time I only intend on running 5.2 and bi-amping my front end, in the past 7 channel didnt seem to that big of an improvement however that was about 7 years ago and my old room was not very good for 7 channels.

I would like to build a system upgraded from what i had but my spending limit would be in the ballpark of $1500 (just on the ht gear)

This room isnt that big so it will not require anything massive and I will have dampen the room with some throw rugs and maybe some wall coverings.

Im just at a loss on what to get. I get settled on something then read reviews of a reciever that should be good but has network problems or firmware issues.

Any ideas?
