I have to say, my favorite Doctor is Matt Smith. He's great, and brought a lot of energy and life that the character hadn't seemed to have in a while to the role. And I love David Tennant. But Matt actually seems like an alien, and David always seemed more human. I'm also a big fan of Tom Baker, David Tennant, and Peter Davison

To get this going PJ, I'll also choose Matt Smith because he's very wacky and mad, which is a bit like me sometimes, and so I really think he's brilliant.
Tom Baker would be second because he's also mad and alien. I also like his moppy, floppy hat and scarf.
Sylvester McCoy would be third because he is quite dark and mysterious. His umbrella is also a nice touch and he has great mannerisms.

See, I love Matt Smith for the same reasons you do, which is ironic He and I are very similar lol. I love everything about Tom Baker as well. He was just wonderful and mad and brilliant

I personally love every David Tennant season. I was nervous when they announced he was leaving and another actor was taking over. When I finally saw the Matt Smith Doctor, I was very happy. Who knew all it took was the Doctor going through Amy Ponds' fridge and chastising all of the food and settling on custard & fish fingers to warm me on the guy?

I have to say Tom Baker is still my favourite ( I grew up with him), I still get a laugh when I watch an episode written by Douglas Adams. But having said that all the newer Doctors have been very good and taking Doctor Who to a new level.

I'd say David Tennant just because he is the one doctor that i connect the most with. Though Matt Smith is really growing on me. Then out of the classic series i'd say Peter Davison.

I have to say that Patrick Troughton is my favorite, despite the fact we have such little video footage of his Doctor left. He was able to change everything we thought who the Doctor was, and still make everything he did with the character genuine.

David Tennant is my fave followed closely by Peter Davison and Matt Smith.
