    I agree with in2video2 that seeing a movie in ToddAO (or the other similar 70mm formats) was an amazing experience. The favorite for me was West Side Story (Super Panavision 70), which I saw at the Rivoli in NYC. That presentation was probably one of the main reasons I became a recording engineer. I just couldn't believe that recorded sound for a movie could sound that good.

I tried to go back and edit my comment where I had written: It was just like watching a 3D movie without the annoying glasses with an almost perfect depth perception on the huge curved screen. I meant to write "It was almost like watching..." I noticed you became a Recording Engineer. I became a Theatre Director and always enjoy the sound design aspects of production. Glad to meet you.
