I agree as well that they would be able to use the characters well to the best of their ability. the Fantastic Four would be able to shine with the Disney magic (the company has a great reputation for creating successes) if they were offered to buy its rights (which Marvel/Disney should as Fox has proven incompetent with the 2015 version).

Ant Man was successful with strong 3D, now, the X-Men if that went to Disney/Marvel, would it be too large for them to have?

Seeing the success of an unlikely hero movie such as Ant Man (a good movie and strong 3D), I agree that Disney's Marvel would be able to make the best out of the Fantastic Four in the future if they are offered to buy the rights.

it should go to Disney/Marvel, who will put it in Disney Digital 3D, and they would be part of the MCU money churningverse.

Fox should have let its rights lapse after the 7 years were up, and let Disney/Marvel take that away from them, because Fox has shown a continual inability to handle that.

I really hope they paid 20th century fox off for a new hope, or according to the Star Wars thread on here, its theirs and not even Disney can change that.

I didn't either for F4 as it scrapped its own 3D conversion, this is the third time out on one property which clearly shows Fox is incapable of handling mutant marvel superheroes, or the F4 concept in general (as this is three times out)

No opportunity to renegotiate for preservation, (the ability to slap the castle on to the prints).

It will follow the LucasFilm/Marvel rule where theirs appear and the castle is not allowed to as it did with Paramount a viacom company and their distributed marvels.

fox clearly can't handle the mutant marvel characters, they should be going right back to Disney/Marvel so it owns all the MCU except hulk, whose solo rights are structured in a way that makes him further ineligible to join Disney's venture because of comcast's right of first refusal provision

does fantastic four on the third time out through them bother you (three times on one property) and do you agree with much of the internet that the rights should go right back to Disney/Marvel since they clearly can't handle them?

you could be right, castle goes on them all to open and close, where if the viacom marvel's are re-issued the paramountain is removed, the castle goes on to open and close prints down. if the fox structure (i am guessing it may be updated in animation to reflect the current one, or it keeps the old one) is in play, they may not allow the castle on them, and have rights regarding logo preservation.

true, than does disney reserve the right to slap the castle on them all if the deal ended if they control prints now?

its possible its a time frame contract, ownership went back to Lucas and his estate, distribution did not, as a new hope's rights remain with them, and the merchandise remains with the studio, the toys with their original parties or hasbro and did not transfer to Disney Consumer Products.

If Fox's time has ended with Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm, the question would be how exactly was the deal structured let alone set up the way it is?

i think they did pay fox to end the contract and cut ties, we should wait for more. If disney owns a new hope now, it should join DMA whether fox likes it or not, be credited for its points (like the 5 prequels are), and connect across the services.
