Your signature gave me a good laugh. I worked in electronics there and up until we did away with that policy, I cried inside each time I had to put a blu-ray with a slipcover into a plastic keeper.

Weird, I recently sold an empty Star Wars OT Steelbook that I frankenstein'd out of a 3-disc shell and the front of IV, spine of V, and back of VI (with no replacement inner art, so it was just a messy collage of Tattooine and Endor with a sliver of Hoth in the middle haha), and I think it sold for $15, which was enough for me since I sold the discs separately anyway for extra money.

Yeah, wonder if there's a market for "replacement plates" for Steelbooks...

The discs could always be sold off on their own to make back some of the money.

Saw that you're not planning to keep the Italian one, I guess now that you've got the great inside art on yours you don't really need it Neither BB's nor the Italian one are perfect, though.

Honestly I should've planned ahead and just kept the Superman (or Batman) front of BB's steel with the back of Italian one, done some custom inside art and made a proper Steelbook. That way there's a decent front without wasted space and a non-ridiculous upside down back.

    Oh well.

As long as Wonder Woman isn't covered up or split in half by the spine, you did good in my book haha

And now you know why I deal with Walmart as infrequently as humanly possible. Didn't know the returns take two cycles, that's ridiculous.

I got the BB-8 slip shipped to me, rather than in-store pickup, because I saw how ridiculously long the wait was gonna be. Even then, the slip came with bent corners and all, so I returned it and kept the minty copy I picked out in the store.

    Walmart's never gonna learn....

I hope you decided to go with the BB-8 slipcover; if not, maybe this will convince you

Must resist the lure of the overpriced Steelbook.

I just wanted to let you know that I think your signature is hilarious! I swear every time I need to get a Target exclusive, I spend 30 minutes hunting down someone to get a better copy from the back. Back in October, getting a mint Edward Scissorhands steelbook turned out to be some kind of Lord Of The Rings type quest.
