Yeah +100% on the Star Wars fandom being crap these days. Honestly part of me was looking for an excuse to just check out of Star Wars for good, and Last Jedi gave it to me lol.

I didn't really get the hype on Shape of Water. I mean it's good, don't get me wrong, but in a lot of ways it's GDT's most conventional movie despite the subject matter, and frankly it's downright silly at times too. Honestly it doesn't come within shouting distance of Pan's Labyrinth, not that the movies have much in common other than being historical fantasies, but as far as GDT movies go, it's far from his best.

But still good and worth watching. You may get more out of it than I did

Yup, just did. You're gonna get on my case for not having seen some of em still (like your #2.... ) so I thought I'd wait til I'd seen a few more. Nice pics, too, especially using a Noir one for Logan. Also didn't know you liked Last Jedi, let alone that much. Ugh...

I know! Ugh. Z looks amazing but I know it's something I gotta be in the mood for, can't just throw it on whenever lol. I'll try to watch it this week.

Picked up War of the Apes so I'll finally give that a look. But this is the time of year that I start going to the theaters. Three Billboards, Darkest Hour look good. Others coming up. Finally get to put my Moviepass to proper work lol

Nice, I wish I paid more attention and actually saw it during its theatrical run. Really nice movie, both in content and visually.

I watched it dubbed, then watched about 10 minutes in Japanese with the subs.
