Regarding the Australian version of "IMAX: Born to be Wild", OZ member Supernaut has confirmed that both the 2D and 3D versions of the movie have only English, French, and Spanish language options, despite the other languages listed on the back cover. I have updated the entries in the database accordingly. He was also able to confirm that they are Region Free.

With how much space there is on blu-ray discs, it's too bad the studios won't just start throwing all the major languages on each disc, at least the subtitles if not the audio dubs.

My wife and her family are from Brazil, so I'm always looking for Blu-Ray discs with Portuguese options so that her parents can watch with us, and to help our kids practice their Portuguese.

I've gotten kind of expert at researching and tracking down discs from around the world, and this site has definitely become the single-best resource for that pursuit. So I really appreciate people like you who contribute a lot of their time and effort to the community, and to personally helping total strangers like me. Thanks!

It looks like the Australian version may actually contain Portuguese, at least according to this site:

For some reason a lot of Australian discs include Portuguese. That same site is where I finally found a version of Disney's Cinderella with Portuguese. Now to try to find out if the Australian version is actually locked to Region B...

UPDATE: I searched the eBay Australia site, and was able to find an image of the back cover showing Portuguese audio and subtitles. I cleaned up the low-rez picture as best I could and uploaded it to the database, and then I updated the language info. I still don't have confirmation on the region, but since it's a Warner release, I believe there's a good chance it should be region-free.

Edgar I'm sorry to inform you that the movie only edition should be the same as the other 2 discs. The entries for the 2D/3D editions were made in January from the press info available at the time and the movie only one from them shortly thereafter. When the title was reviewed in early April the 2D/3D disc entries' specs were updated from the actual discs but not the movie only entry. I've updated the specs. Sinto muito.

According to the blu-ray.com database, "Born to be Wild" "Movie-Only Edition" has options for Portuguese audio and subtitles. I already own the 3D combo pack, but I was disappointed to find it does not have Portuguese.

Before I double-dip on the "Movie Only Edition", I wanted to confirm that it does indeed have Portuguese. I have had trouble finding any other confirmation of this.

It looks like you were the one who added the Portuguese information to the database for this title, so I wanted to see if you still have the disc, and if you could check the menus to confirm that it does have Portuguese.

Also, if it does have Portuguese, I would be willing to trade my 3D disc for your 2D disc.

I edited this version of Prometheus a few days ago (because I have this edition and it actually contains only 3 discs), and now it is pending approval - that's OK.
But now there appeared this new version, and its editorial page says that I have created it, but I have not (at least not intentionally).

Could you help me to clear this question?

The 'Region Coding' link isn't working for "Shadow of a Doubt." It arrived today and plays in a Region B player.

I've tried to add the British TV series "Waking the Dead" to the database but it won't accept it as there's already a film in there with the same name and release date. Are you able to add this? Thanks
