Yeah, she winds up with the most obvious guy in the film. Predictable, but it's refreshing to see movies where the guy is being a gentleman in every way toward the girl, yet the girl is too blind/dumb to see that until the "revelation" at the end. You don't see that too often.

I feel you should keep the ex-boyfriend away from the picture unless it's like a simple apology to the main girl, encouraging her to trust men in her life again, which will give her the boost she needs to stop ignoring all male suitors.

I don't blame you for not rushing into Interstellar. It's not a easy film to watch and understand unless you view it multiple times to dissect everything Nolan gives you. Who got time fo dat?

Baggage Claim was okay, nothing special. Kind of cliche in many ways, but as far the marriage theme goes, Paula Patton's character is that type of girl who dreams to grow up and be the woman who gets swept off her feet by some gentleman, and ultimately gets her dream wedding. Oh shoot, now that I think of that, another film I watched some of popped into my head: Made of Honor. If you've ever seen it, stars Michelle Monaghan I believe that's her name, and Patrick Dempsey. Kind of an interesting role reversal as it pertains to, you guessed it, maids of honor. Never saw the full movie, but it's decent.

That's because your favorite film from your favorite director came out on blu-ray today.

Never heard of that one. Pretty solid cast though.

Baggage Claim starring Paula Patton, I guess. Can't think of any others off the top of my head besides that one.

Bridesmaids was meh to me. Wedding Crashers was superior. If you've seen What's Your Number with Anna Faris, you can maybe include an aspect from that film, where one of the girls has slept with a crazy amount of guys, but feels she's done too much damage as a single woman to ever be considered "wifey material" by a great man, who winds up being "the one."

It can be crude and expletive, don't get me wrong. Just have one of the two main characters more out there than the other to differentiate the two. As far as reasons go, maybe one of them is basically a slut and can never commit to one person for more than a night or a week, and the other only had one steady boyfriend for perhaps a year or so, but he happened to cheat on her, so her heart was broken harshly, never to trust men again other than the occasional one night stand. I'll let you decide who is who on that one.

Eh, less Bridesmaids.....more Wedding Crashers IMO.

Make Lawrence and Stone crude enough, but not to the point where they're undateable lol. Women are often like men, where they have difficulty with commitment in relationships, and that should be displayed in a film like that. It's the perfect flipside to how weddings are portrayed by men.
