I know, I know. Seemed funny to me, but that's my sense of humor I suppose, doesn't always make perfect sense to everyone else.

It takes a sick, perverted mind to prefer the Heisei movies. Or would you disagree?!

Yeah, I never thought you'd end up preferring Heisei or Millennium after watching them all again. If you did I'd see you as a bit of a pervert.

I can understand that, Showa has more movies and also higher quality on the average. Makes it harder to figure out how to rank them.

Nice rankings, curious to see the ones for Showa and Millennium. Also, nice TOMG pics.

That's what I always say, it may not be the best but it's not the worst either, it's hardly GvKG. Interesting that you consider it superior to Biollante, then again maybe I'll agree with you once I have my marathon, we'll see. I'm looking forward to your rankings of the entire series.

SpaceGodzilla is so cool, he's one of my top three favorite Godzilla villains. Just the design, and his powers. It's cool that he's a Godzilla "clone", and may or may not be a mutated Biollante. It's interesting that the movie presents us with two theories regarding SG's origin and says either may be right. Perhaps it was just lazy writing, I dunno, but I think it's realistic. In many movies the characters just instantly figure everything out with ridiculous precision without any evidence, here they speculate.

I agree, I definitely feel MechaGodzilla '93 stands out in the Heisei series, that's how I felt the last time I went through them anyway, back then I thought it was the best of the '90s movies. Ifukube's MG theme is cool, but yeah, the one he did for TOMG is better.

And cool observation, I had no idea.

Oh yeah, I was talking Toho Heisei movies generally, should've specified. There was that Rebirth of Mothra trilogy.

And yes, that applies to a lot of Heisei monsters. Biollante, Battra, SpaceGodzilla, Destoroyah, I'd love to see any and all of them again.

It's a step up from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, I'll give you that. It's not a terrible movie, Ifukube's score is great and Battra is a cool new kaiju. It was also Mothra's first movie in a long time, her last appearances were in Ebirah (adult form) and DAM (larva), which means she hadn't been in a movie for over 24 years at the time. Crazy to think two decades could go by without a Mothra movie. After GvM was so successful and it turned out Mothra was such a popular kaiju, with women especially, they ended up almost overusing her in the Heisei and Millennium films.

Yeah, I probably will. We'll see when I get around to it.
