Hello Big Daddy, I'm a new user but old viewer of this site. I've tried unsuccessfully to post a comment on a thread that I was able to post to the other day. What am I doing wrong. Your help is greatly appreciated, PS your threads are great and very informative. I love the DIY risers thread and the subwoofer part 1 and 2 in particular.

I posted a message In the Energy Speakers Forum and BigAl87 suggested I speak with you seeing that you are the forum Guru. I have an issue with my speakers. First here Is my setup..

    Energy Veritas 2.3
    Sim Audio I3
    Modified Denon 3910 Upgrade Company
    Rotel RB 1080 power Amp

Im trying to squeeze out more bass somehow outa my speakers and the midrange seems to be recessesed. The simple solution would be to buy new ones but I dont have that kinda cash right now.
I was using the Energy RC-50's and they had more base and a warmer midrange. The down side Is they sound muddy to me.

Question: Can I get more bass and go from a neutral midrange to a warmer one with a cross over upgrade? Or do I have to have the crossover redisigned alltogether?

Id even like to redesign the whole speaker but I dont have the know how. Any help would be really great.. Thanks Miles

Dude, you are awesome. I've been reading through as many posts of yours that I can find. The level of expertise you give out here freely many people would have to pay for. I hope this forum knows how valuable a resource you are. It really blows my mind, just fantastic stuff.

I have no idea how it happened. I am not completely positive, but I have a feeling that those selections for "top-ranked galleries" are done automatically by the computer based on some critera. I don't believe anybody intentionally removed you.

    Hi Big Daddy,

I have a quesion for you: my theater gallery had been marked " top-ranked gallery" for a few months but suddenly they took it off. Do you know why? I am not here to complain. I am OK with or without " top-ranked gallery" status. I am sending you this message just out of curiousity. Thanks.
