The DVD is Region 0, so it should play without a hitch

    Hello Max

    How are you?

This is a very difficult question, and I am unsure how to answer.

The film is beautiful, and, in my opinion, it is one of the very best to appear in the Criterion Collection. Perhaps there will be some details that you are likely to miss, but the story is universal. In my opinion, Max, if you have Seven Samurai then you should most definitely add Beauty and the Beast to your collection as well.

I hope you are well, Max.

    Yours,
    Pro-B

For whatever reason, it's also a Jade costume. I'll update the review to make that more clear. Sorry for the oversight!

    Hello HeartPalmeiras,

Pro-B actually did respond to me, but it was in a PM. He gets most of his from Yesasia. I recently put in an order with Yesasia. I have noticed that they tend to be slightly more expensive than some other sites, but from what Pro-B said, he has had extremely good experiences with them. I am ok with paying slightly more, if the service I get is top notch, and dependable. Pro-B mentioned that he has been shopping with Yesasia for over 10 years now!

Yeah, I have never ordered from Amazon.co.jp before, but I might check it out in the future. I'll let you know if I find any other trustworthy sites.

    Have a good day!

    Best,
    Adam

Well, that's good news! Sort of

I have a strong feeling they're having some major issues in their Blu department - everything since 'Oldboy' has been delayed, canceled or fallen off the map altogether. Hopefully everything will come together and they'll get past this snafu. They have such a great catalog of titles, I'd hate to see their Blu-ray efforts stifled.

Thanks again for keeping me posted. It's appreciated!

Unfortunately, no. I can't even get anyone to answer my e-mails now (or for the past four months for that matter). I'm assuming they've just given up on rectifying the issue. Bizarre.

Hi HP, I read your comments regarding Anchorman, and wanted to apologize on the behalf or your BB. I work for the company and feel bad that you dont get the best treatment from knowledgeable employees. Luckily you are 'in the know' when it comes to technology and can help yourself.

    Hi Ken,

Sorry took so long to reply to this message.

Doesn't seem like there is any info as to when they expect to have the sets with the corrected audio tracks out. It is worth waiting though in my case since the audio is a huge part of my Blu-ray experiences due to my visual impairment. Just hope it doesn't take too long.

I have been getting my wife more and more into Blu-ray so the video quality makes a world of difference in my house now, but I can feel and hear major differences when listening to the lossless vs. the lossie audio tracks.

Thank you again for all your help. By the way, great review of The Losers, and can't wait to hear what you have to say about In Bruges.

    Best,
    Max
