Well, my equipment is not as good as yours so Dolby Digital is fine with me for TV shows. I wouldn't hear much of a difference even if it had better sound. Maybe one day when I'll have more money to spare, I'll finally buy those middle end Paradigm speakers that I've been dreaming of for years.

You live in India right? Where do you buy BDs? Do you mostly buy from India or do you mostly import?

I should have bought Friends on release day as it was less expensive then. The reason I didn't is because I was going to import it from the UK to Canada so I wanted to let people be guinea pigs and view the set first in case there's a defect that would need an exchange. That would have been real a pain.

Hey srinivas! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year! I bought a whopping 23 titles (including the Friends UK edition boxet and mostly James Bond titles) during the Boxing Day event we have here in Canada. I never bought so many discs at once.

lol, yeah, I went back and had to retract my statement on teh boomyness. I had somehow flicked double bass on in my receiver by accident and it caused some nasty distortion. turned that off and re calibrated with my level meter and the bass was excellent.
