    HD Goofnut,

I was recently reading some of your posts in the 4k thread, and had a question. I figured I’d post this here to prevent any further rehashing over there (seemed many people were asking the same question).

I switched to Blu-ray later than most of the members here, probably June 2012 for a hard date, so I’m still in the process of upgrading my favorite films. I have roughly 500 DVDs left, and maybe 1/3 of those I still want to upgrade. With the announcement of these new “4k titles” I’m a bit concerned about making this move. Do you think the likelihood of most, if not all, of these movies getting 4k releases is slim? That seemed to be the stance you were taking in that particular thread.

I guess I could adopt the same mindset if they do, only replacing the absolute best Blus, but I’d prefer to not have to do this again. I should also state that while I did read most of that thread, I’m not a video expert, so a lot of what was stated went over my head.

You have a really nice collection... I was just wondering why you don't have Titanic 3D? I thought the 3D was amazing in it.
