I'm really impressed with the 8040ST. I originally had the full line of ProCinema series speakers. Going from bookshelf fronts to towers made a huge difference. The last piece of my ProCinema is the 2000 center. I think it does a great job with dialogue. I spoke with the DefTech rep and he recommended me to get the CS8060HD if I were to upgrade my center. He said the 8040HD would not be a jump over the 2000 (I think he said maybe better in a category or two but not a good value upgrade if I had the 2000).

I am looking to get the 8060CS and I could sell you my 2000 at a great price. What state do you live in? Would u be interested in buying mine?

Hi, saw in your signature you have a Def. Tech BP8040ST paired with a ProCinema 2000 (Center). Are you pleased with that combo. I plan on getting a BP8040ST myself but don't have the space for the depth of the CS-8040HD center and considering the ProCinema 2000.
