Glad to hear you liked that piece. I've really grown to appreciate Scott's late films Alot. The Moving Target series at Mubi is as loving a tribute I've ever read for an artist, especially an unpopular director.

As for that Dragon Tattoo essay,[SOILER] It just really blew me away because few pieces of writing actually care to discuss Fincher's masterful eye at length. So yes, he describes what Fincher is doing, but I fill in the conclusion. The film throws all kinds of process at the audience, but by the end I realized, this is his most personal and intimate film. It's about Lisbeth being caught up in process in the hopes that her personal life will just take care of itself.

Sorry for horrid grammar, I'm in class on my iPhone with the brightness turned off [/SPOILER]

I think this piece on Tony Scott is one of Vishnevetsky's best. I hope you give it a chance:

It's going good, I just did a rather hilarious motion self portrait of myself, I'll put it online once it's ready.

It's genuinely fantastic, the second episode of the first series is some of the best TV I've seen. Well worth catching up on 4oD
