Hey man, i've been watching the signature series. this line of disney's is to be released in diamond order with beauty and the beast, and alice in wonderland (the animated one for the latter) next.

Hey buddy, just got my Blu-Ray player replaced with a Samsung BD J5100, its wired, and am going to use it in movie mode only, would a J5100 be able to identify cinavia protected content (like library content which is on a rental license only and is not afforded the rights of private home use) or would library content be treated like licensed material on it?

I know you said licensed material only, i should follow the recommendation and act upon it. time to renegotiate my movie buying rights in order to follow that.

I am enjoying my J5100 so far, its had minor processing problems with discs, keep updating (if that's possible on an ethernet only player), and limit what it plays to material that is on an authorized license.

my last one went down to bending and warping of its wires, and it stopped working after that, too much movement occurred. i am going to try to be much more careful with this one

Thanks for your rate & kind comment on my HT Taygan, much appreciated. I really need to get round to updating my photo's as that is actually our old house lol, moved over a year ago now. I've changed sub to an SVS but have downgraded to 5.1 as the centre rear was kinda in the way in our new living room.

Do you think the Ultra Collection is hinting at UHD 4K remasters of classic Disney titles?

Hi clay, something useful i learned today with Disney and their titles specifically is not to buy them second hand.

I called into the offices directly, i inquired about Alice in Wonderland 3D (the corrected version you told me i should buy). i found it secondhand at FYE, and was very hesitant about making the purchase for the $30.

They told me they are not responsible for 2nd hand or used titles, where they must be new copies with the proper authorization regardless of format, or they wind up corrupt in the system where entire magic codes need to be replaced if newer.

for older titles, Disney and Apple are not permitted to re-authorize the digital portion if it has already been used as they are not responsible for that part as well as the set itself if its second hand or used.

For inside out, no word on if it will have home formats yet until the theatrical exit.

if a post conversion, i predict it possibly has Legend3D or prime focus attached to it as the vendor. if its native, i would be very surprised it would be capable of using it based on how we filmed it in america.

The live action Beauty and The Beast is going native 3D, because the animated one was converted by the studio themselves, and they're not repeating the same tricks twice

Hey man, is cinderella 3D a post conversion in the countries it was released to, or native 3D?
