what do i do with the title? do i need a stereo capable system to let alone use the track with this movie, or do i need a title where Dolby TruHD is the sole choice or any other of their 7.1 mixes where that is the lone option?

why do certain pixar CGI titles have track switches programmed in there, and is that even in Brave's authoring or programming?

to continue on the 1st copy of Brave 2D i purchased had a damaged audio core in the Blu-Ray (bonus disc with bonus features only was working correctly, and the DVD was as well.) the 2nd copy is working correctly on all 3 discs, but the Blu-Ray 2D has the track switch problem from Dolby TruHD 7.1 to the 5.1 version, the DVD i can manually correct to 5.1 from its own default Dolby 2.0, the Bonus disc is at correct audio on those materials (whats the default for that so i know?)

the problem is with the Blu-Ray 2D presentation, i am guessing i either A. I need to be fully hooked up to use the track (I am guessing only the 3D presentation is allowed to use Dolby TruHD or does that also have the track switch problem?) , or B. i need an external speaker system costing me $700 or C. i need to force this manually in the main menu (should i force it manually at the expense of blowing the core again if used on an SRS tru surround display?, is it possible to even blow Brave's audio core?)

what do you think the problem is?

I still have the default from the Dolby TruHD 7.1 track it is supposed to be in to the 5.1 version of the aforementioned track, and the disc has detected a Surround EX sound system (SRS TruSurround) in use in that 5.1 version.

the player has 3 defaults, LPCM, DTS, and Dolby Digital because that particular sound system is there. what the system does is convert 5.1 down to the default on many of Disney's DVD copies including Brave, Dolby 2.0.

The player is somehow being told its not supposed to use discs which go higher than 5.1 and the TV is converting the track to 2.0 by force. Brave is picking 5.1 and im not certain if the studio has programmed the disc to detect a Surround EX device in use or not.

what do you think Michael, and you can reply here or PM me your response, or both.

Apologies other matters have taken me away,
Please kindly remind me on what the problem is with Brave 2D and I shall do my best to figure out what is going with either the disk or the player.

Wow, this type of device should do Blu-Ray 3D on a 2D samsung 403 LCD TV if im correct and all i do is hook the thing in the back of the FM 59.

i would be happy to see some shots of the projector setup, good for you getting more equipment from Italy.

4:3, wouldn't it make sense to use 16:9 which is what most of the discs are using now?

its pretty awesome having an 8 ft screen for movies, it makes the most out of the material. but a bigger screen for you is needed.

The projector is as awesome as we talked about, I am eager to find one in my country (US) that isn't going to wind up more than the 2D LCD i have.

my fathers rule is i can only do 3D if it is within $250 or less of the retail price of my Samsung 403 ($188). do these epson units/actual TV's exist for $188 or less?

as we said i won't need anaglyphic glasses which is all 2D can read for 3D in the home right? it uses its own glasses which support Blu-Ray 3D on any type of display?

    Starfleet Officer
    You're most welcome, anytime.
I would be happy to post you some shots of my projector setup, but I won't have got my new 8ft screen wide 4:3 electric screen with remote control, which is coming from Italy.
Because I own material on blu ray shot in the 4:3 format such as the remastered Star Trek TOS. One of my friends recently got an 8ft wide screen and looks awesome to say the least.
My screen is currently 6ft wide, had it now 6 years and it still perfect, but I need a bigger screen for my needs, now that I own this awesome new projector by Epson.
