Thanks for the rate, dude!!! I'll be happy to give you a review of the EP4000, once I get to use it. Its going to be powering a couple of Infinite Baffle Subs, just waiting on the drivers.

Going to two reduced it dramatically. Speaking to Buttkicker they told me to put White Lithium Grease down the 4 holes at the top (some in bottom also). Wow putting loads down (a whole can on each) fixed it 100%. I haven't heard the death rattle in a year and I get bone crunching vibration. My subs will creak or rattle the room before the buttkickers rattle. I tried mine wired both ways and didn't really feel any difference so I was told to wire them like the diagram as if they were a large speaker. Sorry I cant remember the term (series or Parallel).

    Hi,
Interesting comments. I haven't really experimented with buttkickers for a long time. They are working great for me.
The first time I mounted them I had them on 20mm MDF wood. I found the wood absorbed the vibrations. I had several chats to Buttkicker themselves and they said to go to a steel plate. Which I did a 18 months ago and it was a good improvement. The vibration feels deeper. Mine are located in a good spot they hit the main frame of the chair. I really feel it well in the butt, back and feet. Yep I had the death rattle too.
