hey rich, haven't seen you online for ages. hope things are going well for you, the family and all that great gear of yours. i see you hit 58 this year and i'm hitting 50 in May; joining the 1/2 century and above club! "Over the hump of this thing called, Life!"

Amazing and beautiful. I am in complete awe. I am actually working on a theatre room and am trying to decide on wall color. I like the color you chose for the walls and I think it would look good with my equipment and furniture.
Can you tell me what exact color you painted your walls?

    Thanks

Vivaldi: Trio Sonata In D Minor, Op. 1/12, RV 63, "La Follia" Vivaldi: Famous Chamber Concertos track 12. best interpretation of this song.
nine and a half minutes of bliss you need to find this track for your listening room
you can hear some points the violons tearing apart their bows.

Thanks, I checked out the DAC. I have focused so much on my SACD and Blu-ray collection over the past few years that I don't think I could justify a component just for CD playback. I am leaning toward the BDP-95. I think Oppo's focus on that power supply will do a world of good.

Hi Rich, are you considering the Oppo 95 (mod'ed perhaps?) or planning to stay with the NuForce edition of the 83SE? I'm struggling with this question myself.

Hi Rich! I just wanted to say Thank you for the kind words you left on my gallery. My fiancee and I are ready to start our lives together, we just need to have our careers in order.

Your HT is amazing. I almost shed some tears just looking at it. Very nice work.

Thanks again, Rich. I'm very happy now with my setup, though I never did try the David Schulte upgrade on the 886 before I got rid of it. Truth is, the 886 just wasn't a match for my speakers that I didn't want to risk the $1k with no option for an audition or a refund. I'm otherwise happy with the Marantz AV7005 at the helm, wich recently replaced the 886. I wholeheartedly agree on female vocals! Seems I always have something playing from Diana Krall, Allison Krauss, and Sade. My wife likes to say I'm in touch with my feminine side. Ha!
