I do not know how large your room is and I can only go by experience with having a Denon 789. I have only used my Denon in my bedrooms. I was first using it with satellite speakers, but now with towers. The towers I have are 100 watts RMS/400 peak with sensitivity about the same as the CF50's. I feel that the Denon I have is absolutely perfect for my bedroom, and I have some headroom. If I cut out all this talk and just answer your question, then the answer would be ‘Yes’, it will work fine.
