You are right about the Blanks being referred to as children and such. I guess at least some of them considered Gary a leader at that point.

There's nothing wrong with a little extra going on underneath in a movie. I'd consider it a plus. It still had plenty of hilarious moments.

I'm surprised as well, but comedy is still one of the more tricky genres. I loved Hot Fuzz on the first try, but Shaun of the Dead took two viewings.

Thanks. I had pretty high expectations for it after loving Hot Fuzz and re-watching Shaun of the Dead, so it was nice that it pretty much met them. It also had the best looking female out of the three movies...

I've gone from being indifferent about Edgar Wright to him being one of my favorite directors this year. The only one of his I had seen before Shaun of the Dead was Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

    Watched The World's End today...

It definitely earns the right to sit alongside Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead in the "trilogy". Not quite sure why Andy felt it necessary to continue to keep Gary from completing the Golden Mile, nor have I decided how I feel about the ending as a whole (Gary ending up with the Blanks), but it was still a hell of a good ride.

Not yet. I blind bought it the day it came out, but I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet. I fully expect to love it though.
