I'm sure it will come out over there on Blu-ray at some point. I'm not going to oversell it and say it's a classic, but it's enjoyable. I'd give it around a 4/5. Any movie with Keira Knightley, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Sam Rockwell all in it would at least get an automatic watch from me, but I'm glad it's a keeper for me.

I have no idea why some of them get the titles they do. Laggies is a good title since they took the time to make a new word for slacker, but Say What is definitely generic and doesn't make as much sense.

I haven't seen What If? yet, but I'm sure it could have been given a better title too. At least you can't just blame that on your country though since it's that here too.

It's nice to see Keira Knightley in movies that interest me again. She had been doing mostly costume period dramas after Pirates of the Caribbean, but then she did Begin Again (pretty good), Laggies (good), and Jack Ryan (average) last year.

Obviously you think it's a rewarding flick since you named it your #4 movie of 2014...

Anyways, I read comments on several sites about the ending since I watched it and that one darker option is one several people came up with as well (along with what you thought as well).

Honestly, I don't know if there is one truly correct interpretation of the ending or not. I could go with your interpretation of it without any problem, and something like that is usually my preferred option for most stories (except for a movie like The Book of Eli where it wouldn't make any sense to have it end with him living and it's still a touching ending).

You're probably right that I should keep Birdman. One, the red case Fox put it in here in the US is actually rare, and it does deserve a second chance. I have so many movies to still go through that it probably won't happen anytime soon.

I just got done watching Laggies. Not perfect, but a pretty solid comedy, and the cast is pretty good.

Watched Birdman yesterday. I'm not sure what to make of it, especially the ending that is left open to interpretation.

On one hand, I enjoyed a lot of the movie. On the other hand, if I believe he really jumped out the window and killed himself, then that kind of sucks balls and I was left wondering if I should keep my copy or not.

So, in other words, you like Kick-Ass better but still loved Kingsman.

I figured I would respond to your review here rather than continue it in the Ex Machina thread...

Nice to see that you gave it a pretty high score given your appreciation for Kick-Ass.

I take it you still like Kick-Ass better than it? Not that it really matters, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

Hi Foggy, You sent me a message about the Oscar thread, but I think it's fine or at least it's back if it was ever gone. Sorry I've got messages switched off due to some hateful stuff I got in the past. Me and my big gob.

That all sounds you had quite an interesting time then, also sounds your crew'd spent half the founded money on fastfood and something else
glad you pulled if off despite all this, and plz pass that over, ASAP then

You do not know "Nuit Blanche" (2011) (in ger. "Eiskalte Nacht") by Samuel Tilman (Belgium I think) by any chance!? Man, that one really got me, if you have the chance to see it, do so. Watched it at arteTV, unfortunately its not online or available afaik. Despite the fact its a short, its def. one of the best and most impressive movies I've ever seen, won't spoil it here.
What you thought of Curfew (2012) then, deserved the Award?
