HDCP 2.2 was the main reason I chose Onkyo in the first place, but I couldn't get past their lackluster AccuEq. I also read that Onkyo didn't have HDMI 2.0 and was only 1.4 due to the ONE HDCP output. I'm not sure as to how much truth there was in that. I figure it'll at least be 12-18 months before HDCP becomes relevant due to the current lack of 4k broadcasting, and I'll just have to upgrade once HDCP does become "mainstream".

Thanks for the friend request and thanks again for the kind words about my set up.

Wow! I have never heard of that happening at the movie theater. Yeah... my wife and I stopped going to the movie theaters. Last movie was Captain America: Winter Soldier. I didn't like my seat as much and the quality of the theater did not compare to mine, IMO. We're loving it now. It's been blockbuster night for the last 3 weeks. Tonight is XMEN!

Right now best driving game is Forza horizon 2 on xb1 (OMG it's a absolute masterpiece)!! I don't think that anything will touch it over the next few yrs (drive club is ok)... I have all 3 consoles (xb1/ps4/wiiu), and I play xb1 the most... Trust when I say this, you would love the features along with the intergration of the kinect (amazing), plus full DLNA support, the ability to add 2 extra hdd's (up to 16tb's total) through the usb ports (amazing feature/no swapping), and the snap feature is unrivalled.. The console offers equal gaming as well as the perfect companion in your HT world... The ps4 is a awesome system as well... You won't go wrong either way, that's why I suggest both. But be sure to find a way to experience forza horizon 2....

I paid a nearby carpet company to come install my area rug (paid $100). As far as 4k, I'm waiting for a 75 to 80 inch 4k OLED (flat of course). Currently I am chasing down a slurpee machine, as well as waiting on my personalized popcorn buckets to arrive...

I really like both of your choices. If I have to choose, I'd go with the one on the right.

I would highly recommend xb1, at the same time both if you can... Be sure to add a popcorn machine to this awesome room...

Thanks man. Didn't see it so I sent you one too. I like the rug FWIW. Are you trying to keep the color dark?

Thanks for the comment. In regards to the 2012 Total Recall, I found it to be an overall disappointment, and a bit boring. The movie had lots of style and fairly breathtaking visuals, but was missing the sense of urgency and fun present in the original...I also felt that Farrell wasn't right for the role.

Everyone says that Oppo is the way to go. I love the pic on my S790 also. I'll adjust the video settings(during playback) after my Darbee adjustment. Looks phenomenal. But I'm part of the crowd that likes a little bling to my picture. I like reality with accurate colors. Keep playing with your settings.
