I faced my first failed code today with The Jungle Book, it generated a series of errors that led to my calling DMA, it used its points+DMR+DMA+Vudu+Itunes.

normally these are written for a DC+ portion, that portion failed and generated a series of errors that led to going to DMR/DMA and back, the DC+ never prompted me for any choice of service providers.

DMA resolved this over the phone by generating a new one, killed the old one (i assume this kills the DC+ portion, which it did) and it becomes one for partial.

I got the Digital copy successfully, can you confirm in a code kill/new code generation operation if DC+ dies in the process?

The discs are subject to standard usage rules, and they revert back to how they were operating before if im correct.

i was told for legacy to continue operating after 2019 it must be from a brand new unused magic code, or unused DMR points for those titles to continue redeeming.

I think the CSR's covered with me the fact that the other 4 choices in DC+ do have IOS apps and can play nice with apple machines. they did cover that with me that they have them.

They also told me legacy ends operating in 2019 as we try to move away from physical dc disc. i was told legacy's continued operation is at the option of The Walt Disney Studios, the sheet based ones will continue to operate as normal is what i was also told.

I learned a lot of info from customer service, there's too much for me to continue to list that i have learned.

I just completed my first redemption successfully for sleeping beauty with assistance from customer service, they were very helpful, explained all i needed to know, it went very smoothly. they recommended providers for me with DC+ on my request, they recommended using itunes or vudu with it because i am on an apple machine, they told me the other options with DC+ serve no effective use for me as those are for android or android powered machines.

I have also been told we have never restricted our consumers to a choice of a single service provider, this now occurs with individual titles as the parameters for this have changed, i have been told in the case of my movie, the redemption for it is restricted to itunes and can not appear in DMA again as the sheet has already used DMA+Vudu+Itunes+DMR.

i know DisneyFile allows this twice if the itunes option is selected, and redeems between it and DMA only if itunes is chosen, windows media is one shot your done for Disney Legacy and the DisneyFile disc.

thank you, so for releases with DC (from the DisneyFile Disc or DC+) redeem at DMA or DMR. for Disney Legacy (which uses the DisneyFile Digital Copy Disc), don't bother with the additional DVD unless i want the windows media version (which my macbook would be unable to use anyway, Ios does not support PlaysForSure) or a non DMA Itunes (which i won't form another account). For DC+ it needs to be used for non DMA redemption at a DMA vendor like Itunes or Google Play which the platform is currently driven by, or for any kind of redemption at a non DMA partner like Amazon, Target Ticket, etc.

In either method as you said, DMA can do redemptions up to twice, DC+ as a code reader and nothing more is limited on what it can do as long as you don't sign up with a retailer account. Disney Legacy is once for the Windows Media version, and for the Mac one with Itunes, standard usage rules for Itunes apply with multiple activation scenarios if im correct?
