Just joined this forum recently and have found some really helpful information. Then I noticed you are in Victoria. Before I relocated to UCLA from UC Santa Cruz, I visited Victoria a couple of times and really fell in love with it. I stayed at a place called "The Swan" (or something like that) and my most memorable visit was when the Da Vinci exhibit was at the museum. That was just wild seeing all of this art I had only seen in books. It took me about 4 hours to get through everything. Usually I'm in a big rush to do absolutely nothing important, but this time I took my sweet time as I knew I might never have another opportunity to see anything like it again.

If not for the fact that my family is in LA and the vast majority of my friends in Santa Cruz, I'd move to Victoria in a second. What a beautiful place you live in....
