Well I've got a preview screening of The Neon Demon next week with Nic Winding Refn attending, that's certainly boat floating for me.

Fair enough, I've heard a lot of great stuff, but live action Disney remakes don't really do much for me.

I haven't, I was going to watch it earlier in the week but just didn't feel like it. Might eventually see it.

Sounds like a good story. After Hobbit and Lotr I plan on reading 20000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Curtains for the ht? I found there was a limit to how much sound deadening I could handle in the days before the accident on the sub wiped out half of my hearing. A floor-covering carpet and a few drapes seemed to work best. I'mean not thrilled about the GoT series (too gritty for my tastes), and I will not watch the TV series. But I have got this far so I will finish in the next month so I can begin my annual reading of The Hobbit on April 22, the day of the unexpected party.

Sorry for taking so long, just saw your message after getting on for the first time in a while. I retired on Jan 2, so we have been traveling around quite a bit. We went to see the rock group Muse in Portland, Oregon and later in Las Vegas. I also started reading the Game of Thrones series and am now on book 4. So far retirement is a blast, I wish I had done it earlier. What have you been up to?
