I put my thoughts out there, after seeing it again today.

Possibly going to see Peter Jackson's "adaptation" of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic tale of adventure again tomorrow morning. What shall I see it in? I have no choice but to see it in 24fps, but not sure to see it in 3D or see it again in 2D? Suggestions?

2D 24fps. I want to be be honest I think my initial assesment would not be fair. To explain: The kids wanted to see the midnight show + me working a 11 hour day before hand and only getting a 1.5 hour nap + getting to the theater 3 hours early and having my legs, feet, butt go numb sitting and waiting, and waiting, and waiting......+ also being a Tolkien purist (almost to a fault) + having to work early the next morning doesn't make for a true/fair assessment.

I will say that I did enjoy many, many scenes but was disappointed by a few.

I need to see The Hobbit again before I decree my verdict.

Hey what part of California are you from? I have been there a couple times on vacation and it's beautiful. Actually want to do a trip back there next year and do the Blue Ridge Parkway.
