I do not allow auto scene setting from my bluray player. I place on scene general, then under options Picture adjustmens I use vivid reset. then change cinemotion to Auto 2. Everything is mostly auto, but reality cretion is on manual resolution at 65 noise filtering min, smooth gradation off. To change it to auto you might have to bring it up , then switch to off and start over to auto. Motionflow has to always be set to Smooth. even under any scene setting. General, cinema, etc. sometimes cinema changes it. Also the manual talks about changing to auto 2 to elimate ghosting. You do have to try different setting. But Smooth has to be on. Under 3D button, I leave it to on,0,auto. Play with depth helps sometimes. Must have 1.4 high speed cable. even on movie box it says it. At first I still had the 1.3b cables, so I ordered amazons version for around 7 bucks for 6 feet. Monster cables say they have one that supports all of the hz, but it is 159 dollars.
amazon seems to work for me.

Hey, I liked what you wrote regarding the HUGO review and about the Sony XBR engine 3D TV. I too own a Son XBR eng 3D TV and I think it is the same as yours. I'll get to the point. When my girlfriend and I watched HUGO last night, we did experience some ghosting, perhaps not as much as others have complained about, but there was some ghosting. I was wondering, you mentioned in your review about the settings you had set on your Sony 3D TV. I am interested in more about your settings. I'd like to try those same settings on my TV to see if there is a difference in crosstalk reproduction. Would you mind telling me about your TV settings when you watch 3D movies? Thanks for your time. WVL

Hi frankieboy. This is excellent news. I am hanging out (downunder) as my copy only shipped today, so a couple of weeks to wait.
Do you view on a projector? Could you give a few more details on the picture and audio quality?
Can you discern if it is Region Free?
    Thanks in advance.
