    Hey,

I thought I had read somewhere that PAL and NTSC did not apply to Blu-rays.

See this link at the avsforum:
    http://www.avsforum.com/forum/149-bl...y-blu-ray.html

My DVD players will convert PAL to NTSC automatically as well as frequency or frame rate, IE 24Hz or 50Hz to 60Hz. You would have to look at your DVD player's and TV's manuals to know for sure.

The 88Films release of 'Trancers' doesn't say on the back of the disk package so I ripped it with MakeMKV to have a look with MediaInfo. According to MediaInfo the supplemental material is standard 23.976 fps, AVC (NTSC) (High@L4.1) video (MP4) and 320 Kbps 48.0 KHz 16 bits 2 channel AC-3 audio.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Rick

Hello, I was hoping you might have time to answer a question about the 88 Films release of 'Trancers' for me. Some sites refer to this release being region free but with PAL Does that mean the special features aren't watchable with a Region A/1 player? Which version of blu-ray do you prefer? Sorry, that's two questions. Any opinions would be welcome! Thanks for your time. Roger.
