Well, apparently you ARE retarded if you honestly believe that George Lucas doesn't have theatrical prints in his possession. I guarantee you that he does, and they WILL be restored for BD, or whatever the best format is at the time.

Are you really that retarded? We want the original versions because they are the ones that won all the awards, and they are the ones in danger of becoming lost to film history. EVERY SINGLE OTHER POPULAR FILM in recent history offers us the original versions in the best quality alongside the altered versions. Star Wars deserves the same. Go to and and educate yourself before making such statements.

Oh, so you're saying that you can understand English just fine, but your other friends/family can't. Oh, problem. But just tell them that English is the International Language of Business. Basically because due to the spread of the former British Empire., there are many countries in the world that has had at least some exposure to English at some point in time, and also simply because a large portion of the world's most afluent population lives in English speaking countries to begin with...America, Canada, Britain, Australia. Even the secondary language in Iraq is English. As Britain used to own Iraq pre-WWII.

Hi lincoln6echo,i will explain why i insist on having a french soundtrack on my discs. Pesonnally i always watch movies in their original languages because i like to hear the actor's real voices and sometimes the translation is very bad. However not all of my family and friends are bilingual so that's why i want a french version or at least a good subtitle.
Au revoir mon ami,i mean,so long my friend.
    Alain Turgeon.
