I saw what you wrote confirming Samurai Champloo was region A well there is a sort of cheap bluray player multiregion bluray player

Some of the new ones have a firmwire update that don't allow region play back. So you need the old firmwire to set it back. If it needs it. I don't remember were I got it I had to search for hours. I probally should look so others can have the direct link

peace brother I have Both region A and B blurays so I know the problem. Also there isn't as much region protection on a bluray computer drive it is mostly A software issue
