Thank you for the advice. I'm actually starting to stray away from 3D films, excluding IMAX films, so I assume that will be a use I don't need. But I do need to take my time. On movies alone I spent about $100 last paycheck, 2 of those films I have yet to watch at home or the theaters.

Sorry for the late response, I haven't been on for a couple of days.

Yeah, I got the Orei player. Very easy to install the code, and as far as I can tell it works fine. I've played on one other region film on the player (The Rise of the Footsolider) and it worked fine. I don't know how the 3D works since I don't have a 3d tv, but that option isn't important at the moment anyways. Thanks for the help, now I just need to get a couple of foreign films to expand my collection.

Looks like the China GB is about to take place. Just a heads up so you can get on the list!&

The Insignia NS-BRDVD4. The Orei you recommended was really a player I was considering, but the price was just a little too high for what I'll be using it for. The 3D function, for me, would have been a wasted benefit.

I bought it from bestbuy.com with a store pick up (March 22).

I appreciate the help before with the multi-region player review. I'll probably end up skipping the PS3 (I'm not that much into games anyways) and get a multi-region player.

    $250 (PS3) < $50-$200 (Blu-Ray Player)
