I wonder when someone will create an animated GIF with Butler kicking a dog.

I am a dog lover also, I have a Lassa absa/beagle. Its a small one but extremely vicious to random kids not of the family (I am guessing overly protective to the territory) so as far as I am concerned the dog is always on a leash I when I walk her, and I do warn kids who come close to pet her.

I still don't know why she hates kids, she gets along with teenagers and adults very well. if you know anything about this let me know.

Oh and yes Gerard should have kept the dog on a leash to avoid any kinds of drama.
Did someone own her before you or did have you had her since birth? One thing that comes to mind if she was owned by someone else maybe kids terrorized her. My sis had gotten a puppy from a friend wich had some daughters, the kids did'nt treat her too good so she has issue with kids especially females of any age. Or maybe she just is picking up vibes off other people. Not sure bout her being protective of territory, maybe is just protective of you? For ex if i am walking the dog and someone is walking towards us, if i say who is that to the dog in a specific tone she will bark. Though with friends if i do that she will do that and if i say get them just run to my friends or family and be all affectionate. I can't really think of much else at the moment. As for me i know i can usually approach someones pet with no problems. If i come up with anything else i'll let you know. Good luck with your dog.

i don't want to lie about this but here goes...

my family got the dog while they were in Elvis's place in Tennessee. my little bro decided to give the dog a shower (unfortunately while she was a puppy in December he showered her with cold water) ever since she had an issue with young kids. that includes my bro.

That could make some sense. Dogs don't normally hold long term grudges though. It's not very abnormal for any dog to have bias towards smaller children. The most common explanation is that the dog has a hard time distinguishing between small human children and other animals. Which then causes their instinct to kick in. I can guarantee the only thing that keeps my dog from attacking children is the feeling she gets from me. She will just look up at me like "is that not an animal? is it okay if they are in here?" Pretty much the only fix is to have the dog raised around children and reinforce any behavior that the dog does positive towards the children.

I had her since birth. and can't particularly figure out why she is like that, she is more controlled now (aggressiveness) toward my young brother only not other children though. The best thing I could do with her is just keeping her away from the neighbor's kids so she doesn't do something I may later regret.

I run into this problem all the time when I'm walking my dog. Loose dogs run up to him all the time..other dog owners look at me, like it is my fault..

Pugs are hilarious dogs though. They run into walls head first and keep on going. They are like little footballs. The only small dog I'd ever consider owning.
