Do you mean to be put into the clear Criterion cases, or standard Blus?

dunno if people have suggested this already, but if som1 created custom cover or maybe just scan original work for all the Criterion releases that didn't come w/clear plastic case, people can buy their own cases and simply insert these covers in (just my 2cents):

THE THIRD MAN

THE LAST EMPEROR

THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH

BOTTLE ROCKET

CHUNGKING EXPRESS

THE 400 BLOWS

THE LAST METRO

EL NORTE

LAST YEAR AT MARIENBAD

thanks =)

The Dragon 01-14-2010 05:16 PM

Could one of you dedicated artists create custom covers for my four favorite Bruce Lee films? :

The Big Boss
Fist of Fury
The Way of The Dragon
Enter The Dragon

I can provide info for the back covers...
I'd be willing to work something out with you.

bpm, you really do great work. I would love to use your "The Hurt Locker" and "Moon" covers when I finally purchase those films. Glad to see you are back and can't wait to see what you come up with in the future.

Very nice job !!! Bpm on those covers. I especially like the Up in the Air and Moon.

bpmford 01-14-2010 07:10 PM

Hey all, thanks again for the awesome comments, I love that my work is enjoyed, that's why I do it (oh, and to get those horrible french-ridden covers off my shelf!).

I do have more coming soon, but they are in hiding as part of competitions right now, so stay tuned!

Welcome back bpm. Excellent job on all your covers, your work and time is GREATLY is appreciated.

broganreynik 01-15-2010 03:18 AM

BPM, I love your Moon cover. I was going to attempt to do a spanning cover with the moon's surface at the bottom with space/stars taking up most of the rest of the cover with Earth distant in the background, but I just can't find any good moon surface pics to use. But I like yours better than my idea anyway, so I might just give up on that altogether.

bpm, all the good words are well deserved! I am using more than a few of your covers that you have sent to me. Thanks again.

Just curious, though, I asked a few days ago of the thread and haven't recieved a response, and you seem like just the chap to ask. Have you done any covers for, or know where I could get covers for, the following sets? I have been trying to reduce the quickly growing bulk of my hobby. They are:

Spiderman trilogy
X-Men Trilogy
Mummy Trilogy

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work. Signal12

Maybe someone could try a nice cover for the princess and the frog seeing as the official one is awful!

JediFonger 01-15-2010 05:10 AM

welcome back bpmford! =).

re: criterion releases, was thinking of the regular 7mm BD cases, which i already own, but also the ultraslim ones like the ones matrix boxset came in =P. takes up so much less space, 2bad no one uses them frequently! all you need is cover art+disc+protection those slim cases are awesome.

I would agree if I needed the space; well maybe. I don't think they have the proper amount of space for spine "artwork" to not look crammed. But if I needed the space, I might be able to get over that.

bpmford 01-15-2010 12:25 PM

I too would probably just fit them into a standard 11mm case, whenever I see the slim ones the stuff on the spine looks horribly crammed like Trean said.

I like space savers as much as most people here, maybe more with a large amount of collections in groups:

The ArtHouse Collection - 6 Artsy movies from Juno to Little Miss Sunshine
Batman Set - 4D
Saw Set - 7D
The James Bond Collection - 4 6D Cases
Terminator Set - 4D
Harry Potter Set - 2 4D Cases
Star Trek Set - 2 6D Cases
Pirates of the Caribbean Set - 6D
X-men Set - 6D
The Tarantino Collection - 6D With Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, etc
Fast & Furious Set - 4D
Final Destination Set - 4D
The Robert Langdon Collection - 2D Da-Vinci Code & Angels & Demons
Rocky Set - 6D
Ocean's Set - 3D
Matrix Set - 6D
Disney*Pixar Collection - 2 6D Cases
Die Hard Set - 4D
Mission Impossible Set - 3D

...And all of those except for the Saw set are in cases 15mm or smaller. I love saving space! If I didn't have those, I know my collection would take double the space!
