I notice I was confused with your other one (the german cover art for Saw)...the one you said you weren't quite finish with it yet

Both look great :itsnice:

It wasn't the German cover art I used for that..
I took the poster and tinted it blue and made it my own, because it's a much better looking poster than the one with the severed arm and leg, in my opinion. It's done.
Thanks, though.

I've tried searching the thread, but to no avail.

Does anoyone know if there's a custom cover for "The Lookout"?? The standard blu cover is ok, but I prefer the poster-art.

I also looked for a custom cover for "Taken". The cover I got doesn't have the ...I don't know who you are....text, which I'd prefer.

Does anyone have a custom cover already for either of these? Hopefully complete with the bar-code...I use a software to catalog mine that uses the bar-codes.

What type paper is best to print these on? I'll do some more seraching regarding the paper.

thanks

Agreed..
That 300 cover is 1,000,000 times better than the cover actually released.

Photo paper would be good, normal paper will look fake.
You want it to look like the real deal, so you make it on photo paper. You could go to Kinko's or something and have them print it on photo paper and cut it out for you so it's perfectly cut.

Photo paper might not be bad, but it can be inda thick. Most on this site say they use Brochure Paper. I use it and it looks great.

Oh cool.
Yeah I've never printed out one, but I could just imagine photopaper being used.
Thanks though for correcting me, because I might do it with a couple DVDs that aren't released (no slipcover available in the U.S.)

Can anyone help me? I need a custom for the first Saw, as I got the Saw Six Blu.

Hi RevolveR72,

Do you have a link to the brochure paper that you use?

Thanks
James

I made one if you like it. I made it a bit ago and it was one of my first ones, but if you like it you can have it.

I'll send it to you in an e-mail, the full high resolution one. Let me know. :)

Horror4life

That Saw III cover art is sick  Awesome job...like always!!!

SethRex 02-02-2010 03:40 AM

Thanks Horrorfan. I was actually looking for a white one, as I didn't want to waste my black ink, and wanted to match all the other ones. I ended up just making 2 trilogy covers for the blu-rays. very simplistic. Just using 2 posters for each, and giving a small discription. No ratings or anything.
