First time doing one of these.

Yes, I know it's a lot like the original cover, but I prefer not having shit all over my covers, and I've redesigned the back in the same minimalist way. If anything I'd just use it as a reversible cover to the original.

I like it. Simple, but simple is exactly how custom covers should be. Also like the use of my packet vector.

also, i know i've made like a billion, but I still can't decide on one to actually use
so what do you think of my latest evil dead iteration

I think its really, really good in its simplicity. Not completely sold on the font compared to some of the other versions you've done but I love the overall style and red/black.

My favourite remains the three covers though:

Does anyone have a Cloverfield Region B cover? I need one. The original cover (back) is hideous.

The Elite style cases are the same size for 1 to 3 disks. I have 1. 2, 3 and 5-disk cases. The 5-disk case MIGHT be a millimeter wider, but for all purposes are the same size.

Hope this helps.

Hey Guys,
You have to take the good with the bad, I cant just remove a post because you dont agree with his opinion. It was constructive critcism and we all know you cant please everyone.:p

While I'm not really a fan of these War Collection covers, I really don't see how this constitutes constructive criticism:

As I said yesterday I would rather the pictures not look distorted.

Don't let the haters get you down. I actually sort my collection into genre groupings similar to this and I had always that about doing something like this with grouping covers or possible genre stickers on the spine, but I am too damn lazy. If this works for you keep doing what you like.

My question is how broad is your definition of war? I always thought of Gladiator more as one man's journey than a 'war' film. I always hate it when I have people disagree with how I sort my collection so I don't want to make you mad here. Do you have a strict qualifier for what makes the list or do you just go with your gut? Is it based on the violence factor or the presence of soldiers?

I guess I sort of go with my gut. I look at Gladiator as a war between two men personally.

Just a question to the artists. When you post your work are you wanting to just show us what you have done or are you wanting a critique of the work like on a real cover site?

Rusty100 09-18-2010 07:06 AM

you know what, nevermind :)

Rusty100 09-18-2010 11:55 AM

i really like that one. although maybe a bit of a more yellowish tint, but that could be done myself if i were to decide to use it, just personal taste

oh and i know it's totally irrelevant to the thread but remember those evil dead posters i made a while back?

I bleach bypassed the images to match the intended look of the movie, love the framed posters
