Still haven't found results anywhere close to putting 2 covers on an 11x14 canvas and having them printed by Walmart. Other than when their colours are off (and I get them re-done) the photo paper is heavy, very glossy and the images look fantastic. Printing at Staples or even at home hasn't provided even close to the same quality of result. It's more expensive at $2.50 per cover but can't beat the amazing difference from other methods.

Working on some BTTF covers (can't stand the 3-dsic case). Got 2 ideas for the fronts so far and looking for others opinions.

I'd go for the last 3 - bigger and bolder, the title seems a little lost up in the top corner.

You are the first to favour the second choices. The first mirrors the original posters. The second seems much bigger and bolder. Can't decide!

I prefer the first 3 (that are like the actual posters)... the title gets lost against the art and makes the cover seem too busy. Maybe try a black stroke to set the title apart? Or just go with the originals. I think there was already a set posted in here for individual cases that use the original posters.

Updated front cover (used an entirely different image, with slight more sharpness to it, and got the colours how I liked them)
Still haven't done a completed back, will post when I have.

Like this? Great suggestion! Great suggestion! I also added a drop shadow to give more depth and definition to the TT. I quite like how these look now. Also began working on the backs and made some changes to the spines.

Also, the paper isn't anything special. Are you allowed to bring your own paper in to use? Or do they have different options there? I didn't see any stacks of paper to choose from.

I had the same issue at fedex office. I dont know if the lady who was helping me didnt know what she was doing or what but the printer they used to print my covers was a normal desktop printer. I was doing this on my lunch break so I didnt have any time to see what other options they had but I normally print at Office Max. They have a nice high quality printer and the prints were closer to actual color. I think Im going to research paper and bring my own in from now on.

Right now I used glossy brochure paper and what I like about it is it gives it a nice clean edge on the black ink. And I found that the ink is alot richer.

the back is a heavy wip at the moment obviously

Cover looks great, I like the off-white color. It seems like at least a little text would help. Also, the red title on the spine would look nice on the off-white color instead of the blue.

Sarcasm noted - It's just that almost all the existing, official cover art is horrendous, and the movie was fairly popular, so it follows that a lot of people are going to want to replace the hideous art it comes with.

On that note, I fixed up everything that was pointed out, and have two different versions.

Here's the Scream series that Nissen did for me. It was a great process which we worked on together, we both threw ideas around and came up with these. I didn't want overkill (no pun intended) on the Ghostface image, but finding images without him in was a task in itself. It all came together in the end, they look great printed and cased-up!

I think the second one shouldn't have the same header message as the first one.

It doesn't have the same tag-line.

They are the original tag-lines, Scream 2 used a similar one to Scream simply because it's a bit of a pun on the original one only this time referring to sequels.

Anyway, thanks for the positivity

Has anyone done a printable Pan's Labyrinth custom cover with original title "El Laberinto del Fauno" instead of the roughly translated one?

Nissen is fantastic at creating custom covers, however he does charge and it is worth it, he made a Miracle Beach cover for me which i love more then any bd in my collection. with that being said i doubt this member will give them for you for free.. but maybe you'll get lucky :)
