You still can, when you click the text that says "Front" underneath the movie cover and it pops up with the larger image, just drag and drop the image to your PC and it should save.

That's a great workaround. Just Drag & Drop into a folder or desktop. The other way was too complicated.

So which one of you master custom cover artists will create single customs for the upcoming Universal Classic Monsters set?

I was thinking of having Nissen do a set but I think I will have runnersdialzero do me a custom criterion set instead. I enjoy both artist work so I commision covers from them both ($5 each)

Do you know yet if you'll be able to put a new cover in that? It seems to me a collection like that may come in a cardboard disc holder and not an amaray case. I could be wrong though.

I'm wanting to make individual covers for the Lethal Weapon series, but have no idea where I should start. How do you arrange the backs to make them look professional when you have limited photo material?

Hiya guys, just wanted to show you a custom cover that Pixelfox (here on this forum) made me; it's for Pocahontas. It was a replacement for the original cover (I have the individual European release, not the two-movie collection with the cheapquel *barf*) and I think you guys will like it! It could act as a beautiful replacement for that ugly ass 2-Movie Collection cover as well!

As you can see, it's basically the original poster of Pocahontas (with Pocahontas having a lively face instead of the bleak, emotionless one in the UK cover), but I thought this was so beautifully done! What do you all think?

For any who are interested, you need to PM Pixelfox, he/she has a blue version too! (The same one, but with the blue color scheme that was also used for the US cover).

extra note: Pixelfox specifically asked me to post the pictures here, I hope I'm not breaking anybody's rules by doing so. :D

Here's a Criterion-inspired series of covers I'm doing for a client at the moment.

Here are the backs:

This series is intended to expand to other franchises like Indiana Jones in the future. People sure do like the Criterion layout, and it IS quite versatile, but these are NOT $5 jobs, not by a long shot :)

Trust me, you're forgiven. I like Disney princesses more than the average six year old girl, when all you have to go by is an ambiguous username and my interests, you don't have much supporting the existence of my Y chromosome.

I just laughed out loud. ;)
Oh well, people have ambiguous interests, we should get over it. I'm not a big fan of Disney labeling some of their movies as specifically for girls, because to say things are "girly" and "boyish" is putting labels on things. Why can't boys like Disney movies? It's just dumb.

Disney once had an ad for Disney Princesses that said "Little girls know them. Little girls love them!" about Sleeping Beauty, BatB and TLM and I was like.. "Wait, what? Since when do only little girls like all these EPIC movies?"

If you want your Lethal Weapon's to look like other WB releases they're the best place to start, try and find the logo elements separately but scan in a WB title and use it as a template.

Decent high-res pictures will b hard to find though (you could probably use screen captures from reviews for pictures on the back).

Wow.

I'm thinking instead of my doing customs I just hand over the dough to Nissen and have him do them all :)

That's just a mock-up. Sorry for the tease. PM me if you want to pursue this further. Thanks.
